Scan gaugeII

Hi everyone was wondering if anyone has the scan guageII in their car and is it useful. I want to get one so I can easily read all my engine data. What would be the best place to mount it for a clean look. Thank you

There is another cheaper option

The torque app for your smartphone and and elm 327 bluetooth obd 2 dongle.
the whole thing with the pro app costs about 30 bucks. In either case you can not leave anything permanently plugged into the OBD 2 port as it will drain your battery .

Wouldn't that function the same way as a radar detector that is hard wired. Still drains battery either way.

Not if you hardwire it to a switched source.
