Think my remaps been wiped??

So, car at local indie for session with the autologic. Long storey short, they accidently wiped my voice activation on my idrive last time there. In meantime had remap by imran at evolve. Took back to sort voice activation which they did, but now car seems slow ( i know slow seems odd, but less lively, and noticed immediatly).

Could they have wiped my map?? Pretty convinced they have!! Think Imran will re install FOC but 3 hour trip. Is it my imagination?? or could it of happened??

Garage are good guys, but bit annoying.

Soon as i got in felt sluggish!! The remap really seemed to make it feel spirited at a touch of the throttle. I have contacted evolve, and waiting for them to get back to me but think i'll trek over to re load map. Be annoyed if i get there and its not wiped!!

You can't just wipe the map though they would have had to consciously reload a stock one back on wouldn't they?

I am thinking it is something coincidental that may have caused a lack of power rather than them erasing the map. Have you ruled out that there are no other issues with the car?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we missed a trick as I've not heard of this model before?

They can easily wipe the map, if they updated the main ecu, which their system may have made them do, it would put a default map back on.

I would also be a bit cautious about remaps too, BMW now know and have been refusing warranty work on cars, this is not the dealers choice but the system talks back to Germany.
I was told about it the other day when in, and then a mate called me over the weekend to say they had detected a map on a friends 535d and advised that maybe take his off his 120d before taking it in.

Its a 335d with m3 body/ interior conversion.....obviously!!

Cars not slow, just feels like pre remap. Spoke to evolve and am going to run it into them to reflash. Difficult to descride, but the remap just made is more spirited and lively, and you miss it when your used to it.

Garage said they had problems whilst on autologic and gut instinct says it got wiped!!

Not worried about BMW knowing as 2007. Garage is a BMW indie.
