Well, since no one else has said it, and I'm sure quite a few of us are thinking it... nice work! I like working on the mechanical parts of cars but I tend to shy away from modifying the electronics of a car - unless someone has already done the tinkering and put together a step-by-step write up.

Still working on those connectors, though I am tied up heavily in a project start up right now.

NP. Once we find them it will be a quick plug and play mod with a pretty sweet hp/dollar ratio.

You gotta give the guy credit for his work. I have a procede like you that I am happy with, but you can still applaud someone else's work.

Thumbs up to Terry and his experiments. It's helping me learn more about my car.

Ya I agree. I've been known to throw a few shots in Terry's direction, but I'll have to admit, he's got plenty of moxy!

Hey Terry, if you had to describe the ****** in comparison to what's already on the market, would you say it's more like a PROcede, closer to a TT, or something in between? I'm speaking in terms of its operation and technology, rather than its perfomance improvements.

Well for one they have the connectors so it snaps in without any wire cutting. I'll leave it to split second to discuss technical aspects of their product, but after having run both I'm going to stick with the ******.

So, the plan is to make it into a 10-second plug-in product a la TT?

Terry great work so far!
Not knocking any one else's products but you have to hand it to Terry to have the ballzaks to try this on a 45-50K car.

So IF you happen to find a source for the connector, this would become like a Turbo Tuner? Would this plug in the place of the TMAP connector like the TT does?

I have some left over resistors at home so I might try this... Wife would NEVER know what happened.
I'd like to find a neater way to splice up the wiring or get some of that felt tape to cover up the evidence.

Also that rubber fuse holder... are you using that to house the swappable resistors AND the fuse or one or the other? Picture was kind of far and didn't see the detail that well

Yep it's very easy to hide if you're creative with tape/shrink wrap. The fuse holder doesn't hold a fuse, I just bought it at pep boys to use for swapping resistors.

Yes that is the plan, although so far no luck on the connectors.

So, can we assume (thought you don't have to admit it) that you took apart a Turbo Tuner, and reverse-engineered it?

Nope, no idea what is inside the turbo tuner. I can only speak for what my circuit does, which is attenuate the map signal slightly for more boost.

Okay Terry... read and re-read and re-read and re-read your DIY for this and I got it down pat.
Now all I ask is that you sketch out the vacuum diagram.
Maybe because I haven't seen it in person, I have no idea what hoses you're referring to.
Either way I'm NOT going to try this out I am going to keep my car STOCK because this mod would VOID my warranty
