My battery is failing i think in my 2006 petrol 335i se
it starts the car no problem but if i have the radio or cd on when the engine isn`t running i get battery is low message even after its been on a long run
.
The battery is a 80 ah bmw part number s61 218 381 746
will this battery fit the car just been told it will but would like to check before i buy it

I have the same thing and I don't think it is the battery failing. The car starts first time no problem under all circumstances and I have had the battery tested and charged by a few different places but it makes no difference. I think it is just the IBS needing resetting but not sure how to do this.

I have also left my DAB radio on for a very long time while I washed the car to see what would happen the light was on for like 3-4 hours but the car started fine.
