Here comes GB of E90 Carbon Mirror Cover.
Guarantee Fitment and quality. comes with 3M double adhesives.

Actually, the carbon mirror cover you can find on ebay is hand-layed carbon product. the way they make carbon item is pretty like the way they make FRP(one side mold) products. The put a carbon mat(non-prepreg) over a FRP base and then use resin to make it solid. The good side of this production way is the cost is low. The bad side of this way is there will be many dust and dirt drop in when making the item. Besides, we need to spend lots of time to finish the clearcoat.

The mirror cover we make is hot-plate carbon product.
We use steel mold(two side mold) and heat it to 150℃
put prepreg carbon mat on the mold and press it at 150 ton pressure for 25 minutes. The final products don't need to do the clearcoat because it is already done at the same time. Therefore, the weave and quality is great. We minimum the process to avoid dust or dirt go in to the carbon fiber mat.
The authentic Carbon product you can find like Mtech or AC are all made of hot-plate method.

thanks for the tech info, yeah, I've seen those cheap CF products from Ebay, and I've always wondered "are they technically lying by saying "made with CF?"" since you can clearly see the backing is some resin/fiberglass material

I think Hunter means the ones that actually replace the mirror cover that's on the car instead of these "add-on" ones.

Yeah I haven't seen any vendors selling the actual replacing covers....

good news, we got the full Mtech kit and Mtech carbon splitters from Germany this weekend.
We will start the moulding immediately.

besides, in order to celebrate that I have my first bimmer this weekend, I will definitely give you guys a good price on the mtech kit.

Thinking, but dont think it will look good on my silver car. But I have CF LIP and Silver CF Interior. I also just ordered a CF Race Hood and CF GM Intake. Dont know if it will match and looks good! Not sure if it worth it.

seems the price is not so attactive and competitive.
We adjust the price of the cf mirror cover.
