Exclamation Ticking/rubbing sound after spacer install

I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I just installed my BMS spacers last night, but didn't get to drive on them until this morning. I did a 18mm rear and 12mm front setup. When I left for work this morning I noticed at around 30mph I heard a ticking/rubbing sound coming from what I think is the front wheels. The ticking/rubbing sound would get faster in rhythm as the speed increased and louder when turning. When I installed the spacers I cleaned the hub really well and applied anti-seize. I also torqued the bolts to 89ft/lbs. I get no steering wheel shake or anything, just the noise. Any idea as to what this is? I had to drive into work and am worried I am going to burn up a bearing or other component. Any help is appreciated.

I should add the car handles great with these spacers installed.

the bolts might be a hair too long.......check whichever side is making the noise and check the bolt length and if there is any rub marks on them. might have to grind them down a bit.........

I just finished up troubleshooting. Jason from BMS was awesome in helping me out via text message. BMS gets an A+ for customer support in my book. Bolts were good, no rub marks. I thought I found the issue with one of the dust shields being bent, but once I put the spacers back on the sound came back. With the spacers off everything is fine.

UPDATE: Checked the bolts again and they DID have rub marks. The bolts that came with the 18mm spacers are 78mm long. The bolts that came with the 12mm spacers are 67mm long. I installed the 67mm bolts and drove the car around the block and guess what......no noise. Now the question is can I use the 67mm bolts with the 18mm spacers??

That's the overall lenght of the bolts, right?

Just measured an oem bolt to 49mm so it's seems you got some really long bolts.

You should measure the bolt thread, without the head since the boltheads may vary in size.
But 67mm - 49mm = 18mm so it looks like the 67mm bolts is right for your 18mm spacers.

Yes the overall length of the bolt with the bolt head.

12mm spacers have 67mm bolts (total length)

18mm spacers have 78mm bolts (total length)

Well I ended up grinding down about 1mm of each rear bolt. I was worried about ruining the threads, but that ended up being a none issue. I used my bench grinder. So far I am not hearing the ticking.
