Anybody installed a battery?

My car needs a new battery, and i'm not looking to spend $500 at the stealership so wondering if anybody has experience w/ coding a new battery?

Didn't realize that new batteries had to be coded. Interested in finding out this info as well.

yup... you can install it without coding it but you risk the chance of it exploding in your trunk.

Sorry, I can't really answer the OP's question though, I had the dealership replace mine under "good will" while my car was still under warranty.
