19"s or 18"s pre-LCI sedan xi

Hey Everyone,

I currently have 18" w/ run flats I have the sport package. I am wondering if I should stick to another set of 18"s I want matte black wheels...or get 19"s?

Will I have to roll my fenders if I get a set of the VMR 19" wheels? and whats the ride quality because currently with the 18"s and run flats its pretty bad on the shitty roads around here.

Thanks in advance.

any ride quality with RFT will suck. period. Ditch the RFT.

18s and 19s are all about your style, choice, and what kind of look you want from your car. 19s will be a little more aggressive looking with a smaller profile tire.

18s verses 19s depends on the wheel style. Many (and I agree) say wheels with lips should be 19s since they "appear smaller". CSL-style wheels, 18s or 19s both look prety good as the spokes go to the edges of the wheels and they don't have the lip that makes the look look smaller.

MANY, MANY on this and other forums run 19" wheels with NO rubbing. Some 3-series come STOCK with 19s, 19s are not the problem, its wheel size/width and slamming your car that makes the tires rub.

19s without RFT will ride better than 18s with RFTs, IMO.
