BMW Upgrade Notification

Anyone else get or have experience with these Upgrade Notification letters? Basically it says my car qualifies. In their words...

1) An offer that will allow selected clients to upgrade their current vehicle with little or no out of pocket expense.

2) Allow clients to maintain a payment at or below their current payment.

You qualify for all current incentives, interest rates as low as 0.9% and blah blah blah...

Is this just hot air?

Hot air.

I work at a dealership and we do this all the time to generate business....

that's not saying they might not still be able to help you out or make you a good deal...but it's just a tool dealerships use to get people through the door.

yep, i got the same mail, I'll talk to them to see what they are going to offer, not putting my hopes up

I got the same coupon from Marinello...mine expires March 7th so I better hurry

Anywho, the coupon says my car is what they are "looking" for in their area and that "I" should upgrade....

Same offer here. They were willing to offer me 14k less than the going rate on auto trader and even tried to tell me it was a great deal.

This could be an effort to clear out E9x inventory to make room for F30s

Used that coupon to step into a 328i cabriolet. Payments remained the same. 0 due on delivery/signing and 0 out of pocket expense and no taxes. Pick it up tomorrow. I believe i got a good deal so im Happy with my purchase

Moved from a leased 2009 128i which had 51000 km to financing a certified 2008 328i cabriolet with 30000km (all the bells and whistles minus navi but I'm happy)

Forgot to mention that they didn't charge extra $$$ to kill the lease early.
