Angry This is getting ridiculous..

It's been more than a month since i put out an order on my black sapphire e92. i received production #'s about 4 weeks ago and it still doesn't register with oc.bmwusa.com. do you guys think there is something going on that is causing the delay for my order not to show up? who should i contact about this? thanks again in advance to any replies.

Contact your sales advisor at the dealership. Their information is updated more quickly than online info you can access, which always lags.

I put my order in on February 23, 2007. Did not get a production number until late April and wasn't able to track the car until then. Car will arrive in mid to late June. oc.bmwusa is always behind. Call your CA and find out the week your to go into production. (It will be a number such as week 25) or call the 800 number.

Call the 800 Customer Service# 1 (800) 831-1117 and speak with a human, not the automated system. Give them your prod# and they can tell you when your car is sched for prod. or if there is a glich. Personally I would not put much faith in the online OC. It's fun, but really kinda worthless.

I ordered the same time you did and received a "glitch" number that wasn't ever in BMW North America's system. I received a new one a month later, memorial day weekend and luckily, my production time was not pushed back at all - same time quoted by my CA originally when i put in my deposit. Most def call your CA asap and straighten it out - if he wasn't aware of the glitch, then there's a chance your production might be delayed....good luck and keep us posted. i hate hearing this happen to other people as well =(

Also, contact your CA for both the prod# and VIN#.

It took me a month to get a production number and another week before it showed up on OC. The car was built 3 weeks later and delivered to me June 4th. All in all it took 13 weeks order to delivery for a 335i cabriolet.
