Cobb AP 1/4 times
Cobb users, lets compare our 1/4 times using the AP's perfromance menu!
My car is Stage 2+ running aggresive map ST, 53k miles AT. Didn't get a pic of the 60 ft but it was a miserable 2.5...hard to launch on the ST map. I'll try linear next time. But my trap speed was pretty impressive even if it is off a mph or two. Would be great if someone has a cobb and a vbox to compare how accurate the AP is. Pic is a little blurry 12.59 at 119.952. |

That's not bad at all. I'm planning on getting a Cobb AP in the near future and just bought a STETT CAI. Hope I will break low 13's

Cobb trap speeds are a bit overinflated using their timer. I believe it's 4 mph fast. Best way to compare is to run this test at the drag strip.

this might be a stupid question, but do you need to keep the cobb AP plugged in the whole time? or can you just plug it in to do the tune and then unplug? :S

It does not need to be plugged in. It is also recommended not to leave it plugged when the car is off as it will throw codes.

I realize its not accurate. I was just hoping to see some other stage 2+ users times and trap speeds to compare to my car. I'll find someone with a v box one of these days and get a good comparison between the two. I did do some 1/4 logs on stage 2+ sport map a few months back and bested a 12.9 at 114.5 with a 2.3 60 ft.

Here is my log from a year ago when I was a stock 335xi coupe automatic with runflats and nothing done to the car but accessport stage 1 and I think it was the map before 2.03
![]() ![]() This is what I ran at the track with the same setup. As you can see the time was not as good as the accessport results. ![]() I now have stage 2+ and this was my last track run ![]() stage 2+ gave me a ton of MPH in the quarter

Very true. I just wish I was in the 11's, Maybe when the new Cobb stage 2+ maps come out. We will see.
