Uk shipping to florida
Good evening,
Im currently in the process of purchasing a rear m sport bumper from a UK ebay seller but my only issue here is getting it to the states. Is anyone familiar with the process of sending large items internationally? Any services you guys recommend? Pick up? estimate? Any finger in the correct direction would be much appreciated. cheers |

Not an expert on this sort of stuff, but perhaps you are best speaking with a US based firm which also operates in the UK.
UPS springs to mind. |

You need to give them the weight a dimensions as they charge volumetrically after a certain size.

I used www.parcel2go.com when shipping from Miami to the UK so should imagine they will offer the reverse service?

I've tried to sell 2bumpers before on ebay and shipping to the states is horrendous for some reason UPS wanted £956. If any Americans did want to buy them I normally refused. It's the size that makes it awkward it's almost into freight class but that would also be a horrendous price.

Thats the guy who was arguing the toss with me about the integrity of UKscrapyards isn't it?
Got to laugh.... Yeh, if you want to bubble wrap it and ship it then good luck with that! You may get it under two hundred bucks. And you may get it in several pieces. Parcel Force - Global value can take up to 1.5m long. Maybe that'll JUST make it? I don't have the car nearby to measure it. Global Value (This service is only available at Post Office Branches ® and Parcelforce Worldwide depots) Max Weight : 30kg Max Length : 1.5m Length+Girth combined total maximum: 3m Or try TNT - they ship anything we use them in business across EU and USA.
