wastegate rattle - results

Just wondering who has had the wastegate rattle issue and what the final result was. Ie: did the dealer update software, replace the wastegate, replace the turbo... etc.

I just got a new rattle that the dealer told me was normal and to ignore. Just wondering if everyone is ignoring it or if I should push to have more done...

Thanks in advance.

Wastegate actuator control rods upgraded in diameter for me. Apparently known issue...

I had the same issue with the wastegate rattling and I was told the same thing. After many arguments with them I tried another dealership and they change both turbos. Don't settle for that lame excuse its normal because it's not.

I know it's a known issue. The pony was to see how many people actually got turbos replaced and what the symptoms were to get it done. I've had the software and actuator done, but now they are saying its normal. No other dealer for a long way...

The JB4 latest Alpha Firmware has a wastegate rattle fix as well.
