I have the BMW performance SSK from a 330i on my 335xi and it's amazing. Went with that one over the 335i one cause it's shorter in height.

Part # 25110434219

I just swapped out the shift levers. U don't need to buy the whole kit.

Btw I also had the UUC ssk and it sucked. Height was higher than my stock and shifts were very notchy and stiff. The BMW one feels so much better. I used to miss shifts with the UUC

An E46 330 or E90?

Im interested in this plus the 330 one is so much cheaper?

Any one tried both, the whole performance 335 ssk kit Vs just the leveler

have you tried both the performance and UCC

Well the UUC was way more notchy than the BMW perf. one. But I have xi so maybe it's better in an i model.

And the shift lever was from a E90 330i

I have a UUC and love it, its a bit notchy compared to stock but I like that feel. Lets you know that you're in gear all the way! As far as height adjustment even at its lowest setting it still doesn't sit that much lower then stock. Either way the throw still feels a good amount shorter and I defiantly think its a worth while purchase, if you want a nice mechanical feel. I personally hate when things feel overly soft or assisted. UUC + CDV delete = FUN

i have the uuc with dssr and its alright...i used to drive an e46 m3 and i put a autosolutions ssk in it and that was by far the best i have ever driven. i dont think words can explain the feeling it was seriously that great...someone did a review on it also which was the reason why i got it in the first place and he was right its just in another league.

however he (autosolutions) has not come out with the ultimate one for 335i yet, but has a kit out there that is still supposedly better than uuc...ive been keeping in touch with him to see when hes going to come out with the final kit. it should be out with the next few months but when it does...it should be the best by far.

I just completed the full BMW SSK install last weekend. I can't compare to the UUC, but the BMW SSK takes a bit more force to get it in to gear and throws are shorter.

Mine is a touch more harder to get in but not as tough as the UUC. Prob cause it's actually 1/2 inch shorter. Make sure to grease the bearing and ball well.

Also I assume u installed the new shifter arm as well?? Wonder if it actually makes a difference then just installing the short lever

Yea, I installed the new shift arm, I'm glad I had a lift too. It would not have been fun trying to do that lying down on a creeper.

I researched several kits and even visited the UUC shop while on a business trip to Atlanta: great guys but I tried the BMW ZHP Weighted Leather Shift Knob and it was such an improvement that I put my money into other mods.
