Projector headlight

Hi,

New to here! Just got my first BMW. 2007 E90 325i which have done 77000km, love it so much! It comes with the innovation pack and m sport pack, looks good. However it doens't has angel eyes, projectors and HID. I just want to make it more BMW so would like to have a pair of nice looking projector. HAving searched eBay for a while but still cant find RHD projector headlights.

I just don;t want to put HID in the stock non projector headlight and one of the cap of the driver side headlight is missing so water just go in the headlight

By the way, my car is very thirsty drinking 16L/100km. I dont have heavy foot and traffic is not too bad. Under the same condition, with my old Astra SRI 2.2 it drank only 9.8L/100km. What's wrong with my 325i?

Congratulations on the new car, did you buy from a BMW dealer? If not, did you have a BMW pre-purchase inspection on the car?

My car averages 12L/100km. So there may be something wrong with your car.

Sorry I can't help with the E90 headlight question I'm sure there are many people on this forum that can tho.

It is not from a BMW dealer. BMW pre-purchase inspection? I dont know it.....I should have asked on this forum b4 buying!!!!!

After 50kms drive today, around 35km on motorway, fuel consumption figure drop to 14.5L/100km. Should I try fuel injector cleaner?

maybe try fuel filter replacement if it does not go down further, my combines usage is around 10-11L/100km

in regard to angel eye headlights the best option is to get onto Ebay.co.uk and purchase a set of used BMW OEM LCI angel eyes headlights. Will cost you $500 or so but they are direct plug and play for pre-LCI vehicles, do not require coding and are not aftermarket.

Have you tried resetting the consumption meter since you bought the car? Maybe the previous owner had a lead foot

I have a 2009 323i which has the detained version of your motor and I regularly average 10l/100km. 16l/100km does seem excessive even for all city driving. When was the car last serviced?

LCI is the update model (i.e. 2009 on I believe)

Pre-LCI is the older style....

I am thinking about this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-Seri...item45ff6046f2

"Rings are LED - Single T Style user replaceable bulb per ring" So I dont have to worry about the LED not working in the future. I saw so many cars with the aftermarket angel eyes, their rings not work well.

What do you guys think?

I know this suggestion might not be new but what about going to wreckers??

Maybe you can get an original that is not damaged from wreckers?

BTW congrats on ur purchase !! I'm sure you understand now the meaning of sheer driving pleasure
