Not my picture.

I went with the M-Sport dead pedal + OEM stainless steel pedal pads for ease of installation and more grip than the all-metal pedals.

....using expertmode is the proper way of reverting to default.

Both ways do the same things so I recommend to use it how you want, there is no difference at final target

Couldn't be more wrong actually. I've personally seen the blank .man method fail to return every line to defaults.

Please don't spread mis-information.

Cheers

I used the MAN method a few times sucessfully and then found out it is not the recommended way. Then I used expertmode to code NFRM to defaults and I believe it also set CAS to defaults because I ended up having to recode both of them. IDK, maybe I did it wrong

So this is right way?

1. Open NCSEXPERT
2. File > Load profile > Select Expertmode > Click OK
3. Press F1 (VIN/ZCS/FA)
4. Press F3 (CS/FA f. EC) > Select E89 > Click OK > Select CAS > Click OK
5. Press F6 (Back)
6. Press F3 (Process Car)
7. Press F1 (Code Car)

So if using a new (used) module is WinKFP zbus flashing vin to module still needed or does this do it... i tried this method and my footwell is still not working properly. so that means i need to do it in winkfp right ?

Wow, old thread back to life!!!!

Just program it (flash it) with winkfp with your own vin then Using NCSexpert CODE it to default using expertmode. There are soooo many guides online showing how to do this.

I can execute the "FA_WRITE" job but the old vin is still attached and i tried doing FGNF_SCHRIBEN (something like that) and that gives me an error saying "Error in CABD! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG COAPI-2000 EDIABAS or SGBD error BIP-0009: BEST VERSION ERROR"
