I went with the one from the dealer, that way any problems, I just bring it back to the dealer. Since there are so... many potholes in the city. I highly advise that you pay the extra money, just so you don't have to worry. I've read from people on the forum that once you get a bent rim and replace a tire, you have just paid for the package.
Mine was $700 for 3 years. Another reason why I got it is because when I had my Maxima, I hit a big pothole and it dented the rim and left a bubble on the tire. Lucky, I traded it in instead of spending money on fixing it.

Call Discount Tire and see how much it would cost to get your tires insurance from them.
When i buy my tires from them they charge $25 each tire for a lifetime warranty. Im pretty sure they told me you can buy the warranty even if you didnt buy the tired from them. The tires just have to be inspected by them beforehand. Anytime I had a bubble or a nail, they would either fix the tire or replace it with a new one for free. ![]()

I will buy it. I cracked a rim every 3 years in NYC & blew 4 tires over 3 years.
