Do we have to be a RM CCA member to participate? I plan on joining, but have not done so yet.

Sorry I missed it, I am an instructor but couldn't make it. I did hear about the 335i's though from the instructor crew. Overall, they were pretty impressed.
Did you see/hear about what was going on with Scott's Vishnu tuned car? One instructor reported to me seeing 300 degree oil temps after 8 or 9 laps - his is a manual, oil cooler equipped car. I don't know if he was there on Saturday or Sunday. All the other cars I heard about were in the 260-270 range, including Fred's (another instructor) car.

___________________________________ Ugh...dont like hearing that kinda news...I am an instructor too...but the highest I have seen is 255. This was at an event at the Reno/Fernley race track outside of Reno NV..and it was 39-55 degrees F outside that day.

I was intrigued by the recent post about proceede cars running cooler, not hotter... Sounded like they were hammering it pretty hard. Seeing 135 mph at the end of the front straight (my 330i is lucky to see 120). Was gonna send an email to the car owner and see what he says.

Pretty sure he was there Sunday unless there was two with Vishnu. He mentioned to me that he felt he was loosing power when the car got hot. I did not notice the same thing with my stock 335. It seemed to be strong from start to finnish.

Turbo's do get heat soak..and will slow down...I tracked my Audi S4 many times..in high temps...it definitely slowed down when it was hot..the 335i will not be much different.
