Dinan parts are rarely "worth" it.

At $1,800 (that's what the Dinan retails for correct?) NO intercooler is worth it (that).
palomino, skip all the Dinan parts and get the competitors same parts and be happy with the savings and piece of mind that you didn't get boned while modding your car. The "warranty issue" rarely comes into affect unless you have a major engine or transmission problem (which is not likely). And to the nervous nellies that will respond, yes some dealers can be d*cks about mods, but you obviously have to have a "feel" for your dealer before you start modding.

Shiv has a tune for about $2k for the whole kit, that will get you 400 WHP and you can put it on an off in 30 mins. if you go all out on Dinan you will never see those numbers and that is with 10k in mods... so save The $8K and whenever you go to the dealer for a warranty issue remove the mods. They do not seem to care for regular service. that is the opinion of most on the board. good luck!!!

Cobb Tune + Godspeed FMIC + VRSF Downpipes + BMS Intake + Meth and Lunch is what you can get for $1800
Or a Dinan FMIC. When you go to the dealer for work, just take off the parts that they are working around. Talk to your SA about it |

If you want to pay a few hundred dollars more for the name then Dinan is okay. If you want the best bang for the buck FMIC ETS is gona be your choice. If you all you care about is making power $1100 will get you a complete PWM meth kit and I will get you 40whp gain which no bolt on parts can achieve. Let me know.

Check out the extreme turbo systems fmic. Good price. Not as big as the others, but gets respectable output increase, and no trimming. Also it replaces the plastic charge pipe.

No one has mentioned the shroud that surrounds the face of the Dinan fmic. It directs on coming air through the fmic as opposed to letting air escape around it. Pretty cool design. Does any other fmic (ER?) have a frontal shroud? I know my ETS fmic doesn't.
