JB4 & Golf Tee Mod

Those with the JB4 Stage 2 (N55) and have unclipped the exhaust flap via the cord in the trunk, did it throw a CEL?

Friend of mine did that and he said it threw a CEL.

Unplugging the exhaust fuze in the trunk throws a "hidden" code, it will NOT set off any dash lights or cel's

No CEL. I had my straight pipe on before I even got the JB4 and was running the JB3 still had no CEL except the down pipe one.

I am running exactly what you're asking (JB4 and unplugged the exhaust connector)

No CEL, car pulls like hell. FYI It's pretty hard to notice the difference between stock and "golf-tee" btw, there should be a bit more noise under partial throttle, while WOT noise will remain the same. A lot of posts on here make it out to be a large increase in noise, but I feel like it's very minor. My gf didn't notice at all, so maybe you wimmenz just have too much hair covering your ears

Don't have jb4 but I do have golf tee, I've heard about the "hidden" code it throws off... But had it at dealership yesterday and they didn't even say anything about it (i had it plugged back in)
