Any Perfomance Shops in CT?

Hi guys, I want to flash my car GIAC stage II and get my FMIC installed.

are there any shops in CT that do this? I could not find one.

His brother owns a place in Norwalk. The Shop CT on Pearl St. and it's a great place. I'm not sure how much The Shop touches BMWs. They work on a lot of Japanese imports.

Check out EFI logics in Bethel also, they do a lot of tuning stuff, not sure on installs though.

+1 for "the shop" . i believe the owners name is jimmy. one of the nicest guy ive dealt with in the past. great crew as well.

STAY AWAY from ICS. There are plenty of horror stories posted around about sketchy stuff going on there. Also plenty of local members who can tell their own nightmare stories (myself included). The Shop in Norwalk (Talk to Jimmy) is a great option. He should be able to get whatever you need as far as flashtunes are concerned. As far as I know, EFI is only tuning COBB right now, though a phone call can't hurt.

Yeah, Jimmy is super knowledgable about cars and his wife works there sometimes. They're very friendly people.

I've been to tyrol sport in NY and they are great, but it takes me over 2 hours to get there, and every time i go I pretty much have to take a day off from work and i have to pay tolls on top of it and it is not cheap.

Perhaps i can find a shop in LI where i don't pay tolls and can do the GIAC flash.

I think I will try to so the FMIC install my self, but a lift would make things so much easier.

We would be more than happy to help you out! Unfortunately we do not offer GIAC reflashing, but we can handle that intercooler install for you no problem. If you have any interest in Cobb's tuning solutions we can easily have an Accessport waiting here to install on your car by the time you book an appointment. If a custom solution is what you are looking for we can help custom calibrate your car through the Accessport taking into consideration your new intercooler. Tyrol is the shop I been going to all along. I think they are fantastic, I wish they were just closer. They were also able to fix my Waste Gate rattle where my dealer after two turbo replacements were not able to fix.
