Square setup possible?

Currently running 235/35/19x8.5 & 265/30/19x9.5 on my xi.

Is it possible to get to a square setup like maybe putting 255 all around?? Or will front rub

255 "all around" would be a square setup.

It's useless. Square/staggered. You can explain it a thousand times.

With regards to the staggered setup that is stock on the 335xi coupe, I'm just curious to know if anyone has come across issues with the differentials?

The reason I ask is bc I just recently purchased an 08 xi coupe and from the dealer i got 2 new tires on opposite corners, one Shity tire in the rear popped on me so I complained and they replaced it but wouldn't do much for the front... So now I'm running 3 new Bridgestone rft and 1 Shity (driver side front) with positive camber wear?

What you have is... staggered.

The xi comes with a staggered setup from the factory, if you get the sport package.

So no, there isn't going to be a problem.

And OP, you're confused. Do some reading on what a staggered setup is. What you describe is a square setup.

As for uneven wear across tires, you should try and keep the tires relatively similar on tire wear. The usual rule is new tires should be added to anything with less than half treadlife left, though I find that's a bare minimum, and prefer to keep them closer. You can feel the difference if they're too far apart.

I've been meaning to try to run my staggered setup in reverse, with the 255 on the front to clean up the pushing at speed in a corner, lol. A staggered setup with a car that already pushes is stupid IMO, I'm not sure why BMW does this for their xDrive vehicles.

(Of course, it's for looks.)
