Front amber markers

Has anyone had luck with removing the amber piece in the 2007 335i sedan headlights? Or is the plastic lens part of the headlight? I've got my bumper off at the moment and feel this is the best time to tinker with it. Thanks

Use LongTran's DIY in the DIY section for taking apart the headlight with a heatgun and then just unbolt it. Make sure you post pictures cause I want to know what it looks like with them removed instead of painted.
