Anyone who can recommend Tint installers...

that can handle the dot matrix on the rear windshields with e92s? i was going to take it to someone down south, but he, like most installers i called, said the dot matrix raises above the surface of the glass too much and it's inevitable that the gaps and bubbles will appear.

i've browsed the forums enough to know that if i find the right installer, it CAN be done. i'm not trying to shell out 200-250 to have bubbles all across dark tint.

I recommend SC Window tinting down In Puyallup he works out of genuine auto glasses shop. He will take good care of you and won’t cost a fortune.

i'll give them a shot, but am open to any other suggestions. if i can shop around, that would be ideal!

I highly recommend Ice Tech tint in Mill Creek. They tinted my E92 and they did a fantastic job, and on top of that they back it up with a lifetime warranty. They only offer 3 variations though (35, 20, and 5). Their pricing isn't too bad either, it was $150 to tint the back and sides, but they may have raised the price a bit (maybe $175?)

sounds like a good place. i was hoping for something more in south king county. most jobs i've heard take 2-3 hours. i'd like to keep it close where my gf can follow me and drop my car off and not have to drive all the way back

Not sure if you checked out SC Window tinting galary but if you did that Black G37s is mine that he did for my as well as all my other 4 cars let him know Cesar with the silver bimmer sent you and he will take very good care of you.

my main concern is that dot matrix on the back of the e92 coupes. did your g37 have that?

Yes the G37 had it but not visable as on the e92 . He's been doing this stuff for years and knows all the tricks to get that clean bubble free finish.

I had my e92 done at Accutint in Seattle. They put a black vinyl over the dot matrix area. Had a bubble in my rear windshield. I went ahead and re-did the tint after they couldn't get the bubble out. It turn out great.

I went to Accutint in Seattle too. They did a really great job and the service was amazing.You get what you pay for. They even let me borrow their car to go get lunch
