JB4 on new car?
My car comes in 3 weeks It's a 335i M/T, I had planned to eventually tune it but was curious about putting a jb4 on 0 miles. Shouldn't the car be broken in a little first? Also are there any dangers in buying a used jb4, I know of a guy turning in a lease that will sell it to me.

I'd see no point in installing a JB4 on a brand new car since you're not supposed to bring it over 4.5K RPM until you hit 1,200 miles (i.e., no WOT). Therefore, I'd wait until you hit 1,200 miles to install it (it doesn't take that long). There's also no problem buying a used JB4.

Break in period is for race engines, its not gonna make much of a difference honestly. However you really should tune before 1000 miles. First 1000 miles drive calmly, obviously a few wot pulls here and there arent gonna do much damage but dont over do it.
