AC Warranty and CAI question

I have never had to claim warranty on my BMW. I bought it 2nd hand at just 7k miles and now it is at 28k miles. I have the Injen CAI and recently my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. First the drivers side went, then the passenger side.

First, is the AC 100% covered by warranty? If not, what exepenses might I be looking at to repair it?

Second, do I need to remove the intake before taking it in? I don't think it should?

if you car only has 28k, this should be covered under warranty.

the CAI shouldnt matter unless they can 100% prove that is exactly what caused your AC to quit on you.

Unless it is more than 4 years since the original In Service date. Make certain they check for leaks as it sounds like you are low on the system charge.
