3.3RS Dyno Run
I thought I would share this with you guys as I truly love this car and this video. This is Jack's (Shop Foreman/Lead Fabricator at EFI Logics) Subaru 3.3RS. It's a 6 cylinder EG33 NA motor sourced from a Subaru SVX. He built this monster from the ground up and uses it to compete in NASA ST-2 class. Enjoy...

Here are the specs:
"2000 Subaru RS BBS Brakes all around JIC suspension Custom Rear sway bar Custom Front Sway Bar Cage by Bob the Fabricator Custom Dash with Autometer gauges Engine / Management: EG33 SVX Flat 6 Custom Ported heads Manley Rods Cometic Head gaskets ARP Head studs Custom Web cams Supertec valvetrain w/ BMW Solid buckets Modified Cam gears Custom JE Hich Compression pistons - All machine work done by Larry's Automotive in Stonington, CT. Stock Intake Manifold Custom 8qt Baffled road race pan (Bob the Fabricator) Meziere Electric Waterpump Custom 1 3/4 Headers (Bob The Fabricator) Custom Motor and Tranny mounts Custom Air box (Bob the Fabricator) Custom MSD Ignition Balanced and Blueprinted STIi Injectors by Deatschwerks Autronic SMC Engine Management tuned by EFI Logics Autronic CDI box Custom 5 speed gear box W/ RA Gear set and Cusco Tarmac Center diff from Fizz Autosports There is probably more we are missing, but that is the most of it. The car was tuned today, on our Mustang Dyno, and produced a very impressive 320whp and 276wtq @ 8200rpm, SAE corrected. Dyno Graph (we are working on the bug with it going off the chart)." -Josh |

Does anyone know why the holes are drilled out from the bumper? is it to save weight?

pretty solid numbers. That car must be pretty lightweight as well, making it perfect for the track.

Awsome to see something different in the Subaru community. I bet this thing rips. This is what subaru's should be used for...I've been seeing A LOT of "stanced" Subys latley, and this is refreshing. Thanks for sharing!

So that is why I see Hondas with that shit. Why not just make a valence diffuser and solve that problem and get better airflow? Is that within SCCA specs or whatever?
