Poorboys Spray and Wipe vs Washing?

Hey everyone... I was reading an article on autopia which discussed the use of a QD instead of washing to save time.... My car was just fully detailed last week and it rained a little yesterday, I don't see any heavy dirt from the road... is it safe to use Spray and Wipe with a few MF to clean the car rather than wash it?

It also said that as long as you don't have heavy dirt you can use a california car duster then a QD...

PS I just had my car finished with optimum's optiseal last week.... is poor boys spray and wipe ok to use or should I use Sonus Acrylic Spritz?

PPS: What is the difference between spray and wipe and spray and shine... thanks everyone@@@!!!!

I use poorboys spray and wipe all the time. It's by far the best QD I've used, and works as a great waterless wash. Just make sure you are very gentle and don't push too hard on the paint. The bottles directions are also correct in saying less is more.

I set the spray to a fine mist so it hits a large area and use maybe 2 sprays for the entire hood. Make sure you only wipe in straight lines and use a ultra plush mf towl. If your going to use a mf towl you bought from autozone wait, there junk and buy a pack of good towls from either pakshak, autogeek(cobra) or detailedimage.

You'll love not having to wash the car entirely every 3 days.

S&W rocks, but don't use it as an alternative to proper washing. It is for light dusting, or in your car after a light rain.
