I need your opinions.

I just bought a pair of projector fog lights for my E90. I'm debating whether I should use 3000K HID bulbs or 6000K. My angel eyes are pure white. So putting in the 6000K fog lights will match my angel eyes. On the other side, 3000K has the different look. What do you think?

It would look nice being a little on the yellow side. That being said, I think it's more of a JDM look than anything else. And last time I checked, we drive BMWs.

It comes down to what you want. It will look good either option. What color is your car? If your car is AW I would definitely say 3000 just to give it some contrast.

I just bought some new bulbs and I'm matching my fogs to my hid lights (8000).

My car color is blue. I'm leaning toward the 3000K lights. Basically here are my setup:
Low beam: Philips Ultinon 6700K
Cornering lights: OEM
Angel Eyes: Alpine Angel Eyes (8000K but the color is pure white????)
Fog lights: Projector housing with either 3000K or 6000K

By the way, I find it very hard to match all of your lights (low beam, AE, fog). You can't match the exact color. I gave up on matching mine with 8000K (that blueish hint). So I'm going with 6000K range since the color is more white thus easier to match.

Garage List
I read somewhere that fog lights are yellowish for a reason: that particular color is the only one that does something to help see better in fog (kinda obvious). I usually take my fogs for granted but last night it was ridiculously foggy and i was very thankful for my lights.

Basically, stick to yellowish and I personally think HID fogs are ricer. But to each his own.

You are correct! The reason that fog lights are yellow because it can cut through the fog. We rarely experienced any fog here so fog lights are more of a cosmetic thing rather than a requirement.
