Looking to slightly lower my E92 and improve ride quality on the cheap - suggestions?

I've got an E92 335i with the sport package suspension and 50,000 miles on it, so I'm due for a replacement sometime soon anyway. Even with 18"s, I'm getting a bit sick of the ride quality and I imagine I'll be even more disappointed once I get 19"s on there. I'm looking to slightly lower the car (want the tops of the tires still visible but the wheel gap gone) for aesthetics and performance and I'd like at least a minor improvement to ride quality.

However, this is currently rather low on my priority list for mods, so I'm hoping to do it as cheap as possible. As a result, coils are out of the question. Also, I imagine just changing the springs is out of the question as well, as that'll mean decreased ride quality. Any suggestions for setups I should consider?

Thanks.

BMW perf suspension. Amazing difference to the ZSP, in both ride comfort and handling. Lowers only about 10mm more then ZSP, if that. And if you want it cheap do what I did: v1 dampers & v2 springs. [Search and will find more about what this is.]

Eibach pro kit springs/Koni FSD dampers/E36 M3 front; E85 Z4 rear bumpstops if you want a more compliant and lower ride than BMW PS.

Eibach pro kit with koni fsd is a very popular combo that meets the OP's needs.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions - I'll start doing some research based on what's been mentioned in this thread.

On average, how many miles can I expect out of aftermarket suspension setups before they'll need to be replaced? I'm wondering if it's worth buying a used setup off the forums.

Yes, but will cost as much as coils. Eibach and H&R kits will be roughly 25% cheaper.
