Need your help.. first detail with buffer

Hi guys! I need some help from everyone to pick out some products for my first detail in April. I know there are a lot of threads on this topic and I’ve read through quite a few of them. But there are just TOO MANY products out there and it just seems to confuse me more. Hopefully Detailed Image can chime in here too and help me out…

I have a space grey 335i which I picked up about a year and half ago, and I have always been pretty strict about how I wash my car. In the winter time I obviously can’t hand wash, so I just opt for the drive through touch-less car washes. The process I used last summer to hand wash/detail my car was as follows;
1) Autoglym wheel cleaner
2) Bug and tar remover on lower half of car
3) Snowfoam entire car for 15 mins (autobrite supasnow foam)
4) 2 bucket wash with autoglym body shampoo
5) Claybar with Mother’s detailer
6) Dry car (obviously)
7) Mother’s Step 1 : pre-wax cleaner (applied by hand)
8) Mothers Step 2: Sealer and glaze (applied by hand)
9) Meguiars NXT generation tech wax (applied by hand)

I used the hand process for the polishing and wax last year since my paint was in pretty good condition and very minimal scratches. The results were satisfactory but I know that they could have been MUCH better.

This year I decided to go with the buffer route. I recently purchased a PC 7424xp and got the Lake country orange, green, white, and black pads. (I don’t really plan on using the orange for my car, its more for my mom’s which has more swirls in it). My car’s paint is still in pretty good shape and has very minimal light scratches, other than my trunk lid which has slightly more scratches from when I was installing my new spoiler.

I’m guessing I need the following products for the polishing, please give me your suggestions! And let me know if I’m missing something.
- “medium” polish (suggestions?)
- “finishing” polish (suggestions?)
- Chemical guys vertuabond 408
- Chemical guys jet seal 109
- wax (suggestions?)

THANKS EVERYONE!

It may also be worth considering the Jeff's Werkstat line; I use their Prime, applied with a buffer, followed by JS 109 for a sealant, but they also have their own sealants that are good.

what do you guys think of chemical guys 778, followed by chemical guys p40 final step polish. then use the vertuabond, m-seal, and chemical guys pure carnuba liquid wax. the reason i changed from the products i initially mentioned is that detailedimage doesnt seem to ship to canada. plus the total was coming around $200 :S... I'm not looking to spend more than around $100- $120 on these products.
