'Other' BMW forums

I'm just wondering if any of you frequent any other BMW forums?

I've had a look around and either they are not very UK focussed or if for example you're looking at a 3 series you have to trawl through posts not relating to the E90 etc.

Are there any good ones out there?

bmwland.co.uk is the main one.

There are several enthusiast run modding forums also. m3cutters and EvoTechnik to name just 2.

Yea been on BMW Land a few times but the 3 series forum covers E21, E30, E36, E46, E90, E91, E92, E93 etc. and you have to start reading most of the posts first to see if its an E90 they are talking about.

Thats why I've stopped using them so much.

I pop on occasionally but its to diluted.

I'm on Bimmerforums too but its pretty much the same on there.

This is the only E90 specific one I know about really.

Most other sites are too small to have a board for just one model - it'd end up being a handful of posts a week and die.

But the enthusiast forums are great places too!

For me the general rule was

e36coupe.com (now bmwowner.com) for e36 3 series
e46fanatics for e46 3 series and
e90post.com for e90 3 series.

The e36coupe forum is the most friendly, thorough, informative and well stocked forum I frequent. But only if you got an e36 obviously. 46k thread count.

I sometimes think there is alot of snobbery/mockery going on here which could be left out.

My 2 pence worth...

You get it on all forums moh, and your right I e seen it here too.

But BMW land has potential to be fantastic but most people on there have their heads up there own arses. Very difficult to get a proper Q answered as peeps just looking out for themselves.

I really like it in here.

babybmw.net is the other site I use. An excellent site for 1 Series people. So good I'm still a regular visitor, even having sold our 130 10 weeks ago.

Well in an effort to try and get some kind of big UK based 3 Series site off the ground I've created a 3 Series Owners Club.

3 Series Owners Club
3 Series Forum

Open to suggestions on it and you're welcome to sign up to test it out. If it's not for you no bother.

p.s Is shameless self promotion allowed on here? If not sorry

When you come across a 'snobbery/mockery' post as you say, just ignore and go straight on past - probably just some bitter old git hiding behind his keyboard.

dbramley there are dozens of UK 3 series forums I don't know why you'd open another.

Doubt it'll take off but good luck to you
