Bump for an answer? I'm interested too. Looking at getting LCI taillights.

i've been researching intensively to retrofit PDC for my car, so this is what i found
you need this cable and a program to code your car, which can be installed on any computer that uses windows, assuming you are XP , Vista or windows 7 http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14047 here is more infomation on that cable and how to start. here is the link to teach you how to re-code the car to activate LCI tail lights http://www.**************/showthread...ding-(FRM-NFRM) ( need registration ! ) |

Thanks Oda, appreciate the information. I had a look at the BMW Coding website, but it's all Greek to me and I only have a Mac. If you figure out how to do it, would you mind hooking a few of us forum members up? I'm sure we'll all be happy to take you out for a couple of beers, or several

if you have a close garage you might be able to get it done for free...most garages that do tuning work have access to an OBD2 port + computer and they can do the coding for you
