Slightly odd question for you...

This is aimed at you N57 manual drivers, so seeing as the 335d is only sold mated to the Steptronic, I am appealing to 330d 6MT drivers.
Basically; do you have a kickdown notch under your accelerator pedal just before it is fully depressed? There should be a little point of resistance just before its fully to the floor and obviously for the Steptronic cars, it will kickdown and go like hell, hence Steptronic.
I'm asking this for the reasons outlined in my linked thread below, because mine is missing! Even though its manual and shouldn't have one.

manual cars do not have the kickdown. no bmw that I have been in has it. If it did have it, it's either a swapped trans car, or as I read bmw had a string auto accelerators in some models. In which case it would be non operational anyway.

Kickdown is to make to car shift into the lowest gear possible...pretty hard for the car to shift itself when its manual lol

I KNOW!!!!!!!!! I AM FULLY F**KING AWARE!!!!!!
Please kindly read the linked thread. For some reason, I HAD one. Note the capitalised primary verb there.
Now it's gone!!
And I have heard about this rumour that BMW did put a series of Steptronic pedals into manuals, so mine must've been one of them and I'm asking if any other N57 powered, manual BMW's have them too, to get an idea how many are "affected" even though it has no affect on driving. Do not lecture me on how a kickdown works!!
