DYI guide for second cats delete on n52

I was searching for one and I found this one for an M3...would it basically be the same thing on a 2007 328i coupe?

no, not the same thing.

I can give you some specs, but it's not really a "Do It Yourself" kind of project.

Tools needed:
Measuring Tape w/ Sharpie
Welder (preferably MIG)
2.5" Diameter STEEL pipe...
Saws-All (or a heavy-duty metal cutting blade)

[i can't remember the tools needed to take the underbody skid plate(s) off, you'll just have to keep a toolbox handy]

Essentially, it's a cut-n-paste job. Cut the cats out (try to cut as straight as possible). Measure what you cut away. Cut your 2.5" piping to size. Weld in place. Replace skid plates. Done.

Even better,

Cut out your cats, empty them, and them weld them back.
