Aftermarket Amp/Sub install question

I have an 07 335i, with premium sound system. All i want to do is put an amp/sub in my trunk, do i disconect the stock subs or leave them and add my new sub to the mix? if so i cannot find any threads explaining how to install a simple sub/amp to stock system. Any info or advice would be awesome.

I don't want to make a new thread about this because its apparently a crime punishable by death, but this question has not been answered.
How can one install ONLY a sub/amp in the trunk on a NON-L7 / NON Harmon Kardon sound system?

I can't find the answer anywhere. Anytime bringing up only a trunk sub/amp, the answers all lead to full blown upgrades of the entire sound system.

I have the Professional (I think 663 is what I saw somewhere as the option) Headunit from 2006.

All I'm trying to do is hook up my W6 and amp to my system to run in my trunk. Can anyone please provide me with info on how to do this?

If you have HiFi then all you need is an LoC, LVT, Amp Wiring Kit, T-Taps and a wire diagram for the stock amp.

So you DO use a LOC on a HiFi system? Any particular reason why?

There is no balanced-inputs requirement for the sub amp this way.

I transferred the front channel Head Unit line-out to the OEM amp rear input connectors (I kept the OEM amp just for the rears).

I use the rear line output from the HU to feed my amps for my sub and front CDT speakers.

This way the door gong, seatbelt gong, cell phone caller speech output all go through the rear speakers and I dont have to worry about them anymore when adjusting the volume or sensitivity of my amps.
