New exhaust tips DiMisa

I saw some people on the forum talking about them. I hated the look of the 325i tips. I didnt want slip on tips, so I pulled the trigger on them. Originally I scoured through all the tips on the net and didnt see anything I liked. I am happy with my choice.

The install shop did a so-so job. He left one side lower than I would have liked. I will go back in a day or two if I am still unhappy.

Some pics

In my opinion there also on the wrong way. Shorter pipe should be to the outside following natural curve of the car

The tips are all the way up against the muffler. They are the same length. I may have to have the outside tip cut shorter to get that look. Right now, I just want them level with the bumper.

Take it back and ask the guy to fix it. Other than the poor install, love the tips. Look very clean but noticeable.

Nice tips, just a bad install.
How are they mounted to the exhaust? Are they welded on?

Yes, they are welded on tips. Basically cut off most of the stock tip, but leave just enough to weld onto.

Went to first shop again and asked them to fix. They re-welded them crooked again. I was pissed. Went to another shop in town and got what I wanted from the start. Guy only charged me $10. He has my business from now on.

The tips were around $115 with shipping. Yes they are the 3" 328i tips in the link I posted.

that looks good actually. Can you post pics of rear dead on, from a bit of distance? too close to car I can't get a sense of how it looks proportions wise, versus bumper etc. Second install looks WAY better.

BUT - they are angled down -why is that? because it's otherwise it'll be burning into bumper?

Nothing that noticeable but ever so slightly. Does that make sense?
