Coil Overs or Rims First?

Need some expert advice. Currently riding on my OEM 17 inch wheels with my winters. Bought new 18 inch summer wheels and tires that I'm looking to put on in a couple of weeks. I'm also looking to get coil overs for my D as well.

What do you guys feel should come first and why?

Thanks!

depends on what your stock wheels are. Aftermarket wheels usually look goofy without coils or some sort of lowering.

Stock wheels are square at 225/45/17.

Will be going 235/40/18 at the front and 265/35/18 at the rear with aftermarket wheels.

I did rims first - totally changed the look of the car. Next came a drop, which really accentuated the wheels and overall look of the car.

If you already have the wheels, then obviously just put them on. If you didn't own wheels or coil overs, I would say coil overs first. Reason being, a dropped car on stock wheels looks much better than a stock height car with aftermarket wheels.

Thanks for the replies guys. Just got an email that my summer wheels have come in! I'll be putting them on in just under 2 weeks and will then put on the coil overs in 1-2 weeks after that.
