Staggered or Square Setup for a 318 SE?
Hi,
Can you someone please let me know if a staggered or Square wheel setup is better for a standard 2006 318i SE E90? Looking at BMW Alloys and most of the M Sport Alloys are setup for staggered fitment though I'm not sure if that's overkill for my SE model without the lowered sports suspension? Cheers Ed |

Whichever you go for, they will be fine with SE suspension.

Depends if you will be downsizing the backs, or widening the fronts.
Former offers less grip everywhere, the latter more grip everywhere. (Compared to what you have now). Stagger is generally done for stability, less grip at the front of a FR car. Personally I like wider fronts, lots of mechanical grip, but requires a firm coil and/or ARB.
