Confused on status messages

Ok..Yesterday I called the 800# and they said:

"your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit:

today they said:

"'finished production and waiting to be released to the carrier"

so i am a little confused?..
(also..how can I figure out what ship my car might be on?)..

lastly..how long before (in your opinions) I can drive it off the lot
based on these?..it is my first BMW and I may or may not be a bit
excited...

OK, first, if you are NOT excited then head for the emergency room ASAP. I think you might have a head injury.

As for when you'll see your car, try this. Take your VIN and enter it here:http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=RoRo

That will tell you what ship you are on (IF your car is booked on a ship yet) and when it will dock in NJ. If you are regular delivery then add a week. If you are ED add 3 weeks. If nothing shows then give it a couple days for your car to make it on a ship and try again.

Call the 800# and talk to a live person, too. Much better info than the automated status.

And add 3 weeks for ED? What are you talking about! (I'm ED.)

the 800# reps wont help you once the car is released to the carrier
