My car was built in 09/07 (335i E92, no iDrive). How can I tell whether it has the signal generator?

Installation instructions says that you need to install signal generator if your car was built before 09/07. I think the best bet will be to call BMW, tell them your VIN # and ask if you need the signal generator or not.

I cant send you PM because you havent post enough.

In short, you need to run additional PDC front harness, drill holes in your front bumper for 4 sensors, replace rear PDC module with the new unit which I will send you, install new PDC switch which allow you to turn on/off sensors and finally code your car.
