Roadside Assistance & Service Card
Hi, I have 2 somewhat related que:
1) I bought my E90 last December but I still have not received the service card. I just wonder how many months other members have to wait before they get theirs. 2) A friend of mine, who also bought a new E90 early this year, just got into an accident recently. He was denied by BMW roadside assistance when he called since they said he is not on the list. They refused to help him and said that he had to sort it out with his dealer. His dealer was not able to help and his insurance company ended up calling a tow truck for him. Que is, how do you know you are actually covered by the program? Thanks |

Did your friend call BMW Roadside Assitance and register? When I took delivery of my car, my dealership told me to call in (using the SOS button) and register myself and the car using a codeword they (the dealer) provided me with.

Yes I did receive a card in the mail. In fact it came in a package of some sort a few years ago.

I don't recall exactly but I know it was with-in 1-2 months...as I was told this was the card to use (as you've described.) You also can use the card at dealerships when taking your car in for service (since all the car's information is on there etc etc.)
