335i Window auto drop/up doesn't work..

I recently bought a used 2009 335i sedan with 33k miles (under CPO + M.P.)
it has sport/prem pkg. automatic.

I noticed today that the windows do not auto roll down when I open the door and they don't auto roll up when I close the door (to form a tighter seal)

So, does this mean my windows aren't forming a tight seal ? Or, are they automatically staying rolled up all the way and the "drop" part is not happening?

I'm assuming this is a standard feature on my car?

How can I fix this?

If the windows on my coupe didn't "autodrop", they would hit the molding when I closed the doors if they were in their upper position If they were in the dropped position, I'd get a horrible wind whistle when I am driving. Do you have either of these problems?

Never mind, I just saw one of your other posts and you have a sedan. Sedans dont' do this. Why would a sedan need this feature, it has a fixed frame around the window?! You don't have it and you don't need it so you don't have to fix anything. You're good.

you gave me a good laugh when I realized you had a sedan. In a coupe, you would know before you even got off of the lot if it was broken.

Good luck with your new car
