Purchased it back in June and have only hand polished it once in that time, so with the long weekend I decided to get the DA out and give it a shot.
No before pics, but this is it after 14 hours work over 2 days: And playing hide & seek with the camera And after a bit of a play around with one of the pics: Unfortunately as it's black i've already resigned myself to the fact that it'll be bogging by tomorrow without moving |

Liked it mate. LCI headlights + black grills on black car....clean look.
Also liked the exhaust tips. 1st photo and 2nd last photo, both are great shots.

Thanks everyone, Not really wanted to drive it since it's been done to keep it clean!
Think this is it all, dare say i've forgotten something though: Chemical Guys glossworkz shampoo Bilt Hamber medium clay Orange Hex pad with 3m fast cut plus (nasty stuff but the car was a state) Green hex pad with 3m perfect it Green hex pad with 3m ultrafina Blue hex pad with Chemical guys EZ creme glaze Hand waxed with Chemical guys/Petes 53 black pearl paste wax Wheel arches were done with 303 Aerospace protectant Glass with chemical guys glassworkz Wheels, bilberry pro and then sealed with Poorboys wheel sealant Tyres chemical guys natural look And finally, the exhaust was done with good old brasso as i couldnt find my metal cleaner! The house is fantastic! My fiance's parents house, they had it built about 2 years ago and it was the first of it's kind of that design in the size it is. |

You got the Aluflegen wheels fitted yet, want to see how they look?! We could have even had a little mini meet when you were in Bridgwater |

Yours is an M Sport is it not? Always wondered if they'd need lowering with bigger wheels or if the M sport drop would be enough. |

Thank you, although after a week you'd never tell now!
Thanks Quote:
Just keeping this as it currently stands, will be looking at getting an E91 335i in a year or two as with any luck we'll be needing a family car. I can honestly say I don't miss the VXR compared to the E90. Yes it was quicker but the BMW is just a much nicer drive. Quote:
Some of the bits were bought especially for this job, other bits are from what i've had for previous cars. Impressed with the new Chemical guys wax though. |
