Wheel Offset question
I am about to buy some new wheels and want them to sit pretty flush with the car
What is a good offset. I can get the wheels in 19x8.5 in 20 or 35 19.9.5 in 20 or 35 I have a e92 sticking on stock suspension |

if you are wanting flush I go with the +20mm all the way around to avoid running spacers. Both set up will put you -1mm inside the fender and +11mm away from the strut. If you plan on lowering your car I would suggest tire sizes of 235/35 and 255/30.

so i should be fine than at that point, correct? I wanted to lower it with some springs to get better handling but id rather not risk ride quality.
I really want something like the vorsteiner wheels they have on the M3 but those are expensive as balls. i want something different, tired of the same old everyone has |

As for Vorsteiner...I was quote $7980 for the rims I wanted in 20s...oh yea with free shipping. for that much I want unlimited color changes, tires, tpms, mount/balance, 4 tires, 100 stickers...and model for one car show.

Your priorities are different from others. Some ppl want looks/comfort/functional traction/aggressive with n without rub/stock height flush aggressive? if theres such thing. Then you have those that just wants a balance of everything but will never have a taste of the extreme with the form vs function debate. You dont have any future plans with the look. You just want wheels just for the sake of how its going to transform the overall look with something "different". Browse and search this forum for the look you want. Its goona save you time and money at the end.
With just a quick search just look at the pickle these guys are in. Then ask your self....do i really need this in my life right now? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674541 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674441

We all like different types of girls and wear fitted jeans/washed jeans differently. But nothing special about those black mesh. If you want something flush to start off then go with 9 +25 10 +25

i would say decide what look you want to go for....super luxury, or sporty...mesh, 5-6-7-8-9-10 spoke, full face....these are all the options plus some. Start there....then decide the max you want to spend on rims...then from there you should be good.
