COBB Stage 2, V301, Aggressive - Do you feel faster?

I upgraded to stage 2 aggressive on Cobb after getting my DP's put in. I have V301, but to be quite honest, I dont feel like the car is that much faster.

I have

-VRSF 3" Dp's
-Stett CAI
-ER CP and TIAL Bov

I mean am I missing something or its not that much bump in power?

Theoretically, how many gains are we supposed to have from stage 1 to stage 2?

When you bump it up to Stage 2+ aggressive, you will feel the difference.

slight improvement over Stage1, mid to higher rpm is where it differs. 1 or 1.5degrees increase in timing, around 15-25 WHP extra.

Yeah stage 1 to stage 2 wasn't what I thought it would be either.

Stage 2+ on the other hand made me smile pretty big. Remember its only 20-30 whp games each mod now, unlike the 60+ gain you got from a tune.

Buy a FMIC your car will run better and you will have a big smile.

DPs add 20-30whp when you go to stage2+. stage1 to stage2+ is a nice increase in power!

but I do think that DPs are a must have mod when tuning to reduce heat buildup and help your turbos exhale better

Agree on all counts. Try the Stage 2 v4.01 in beta and/or get a FMIC for Stage 2+.

Cheers,

The real power will come back with the FMIC. I really recommend an FMIC before dp's, especially in hotter climates. How are your IAT's? It must be hot in texas.

What are the approximate boost targets for stage 1 sports vs stage 2 sport? I'm at around 13psi on both and I would like to see if this is what everyone else has as well.

Iirc, stage 1+ is just as good as stage 2 in terms of power, and feel, if not better?

when i switched from stage 1 to stage 2, at first i felt like i didn't notice much.

Once i buried the peddle though, i noticed the difference immediately.

The car just never stops, I mean I passed 100mph and before i knew it i was at 140, 150, 160. I was more than impressed.

I only use the aggressive stock throttle maps an am running the v401 map now.

Regards,

I just installed my Cobb with stage 2 with vrsf dps and Cobb on v401. It didn't initially feel faster but when I look at the speedo 140 creeps up very quickly. I'm coming from a Jb+ and just the smoothness of the Cobb makes so much difference with power delivery it feels slower...

If that makes sense.

well I guess I need to start investing in a FMIC than now.

I heard the beta 4xx maps have issues. someone said the 4.0.1 is giving issues and 4.0 is better and blah blah blah

what are your individual opinions

I just got done installing my downpipes and FMIC...

I was running stage 1 agressive, and just switched over to stage 2+FMIC aggressive (v3.01)... It's an impressive jump in power! I'm waiting for the final v4 maps to come out before I switch over.

I threw the torque converter code with 4.00 on IJEOS. 4.01 is running smoothly without issue...2+ is a blast.

my timing curve for v.401 looked really really strange...however it definitely made power over v301... waiting to see if the finalized v.4xx look the same or not.
