BBC top gear is wayyyy better. Not sure why the American version doesn't take more cues from it. Even though its a imitation from it, they really don't review cars much and end up doing stupid challenges that seem more budget than the BBC challenges.

BBC is obviously the best but the USA version has been getting better with every episode; this last season was pretty good - especially relative to the UK one which has been dropping the ball lately
