E92 FENDER Turn Signal / Sidemarker - Bulb Error Checks

Hi everyone,

So I installed LEDs into the e92 fender turn signals. I would like to code out the bulb check to prevent the occasional flicker.

What function value governs this bulb? I did the following, but it appears to only control the front turn signals.

KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_V_L ---> nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_V_R ---> nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_V_L ---> nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_V_R ---> nicht_aktiv
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_BLK_V_L ---> nicht_aktiv
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_BLK_V_R ---> nicht_aktiv

Anyone code out these bulbs? I can't pick out anything specific to them.
Image courtesy of Jeff and HPB. They look great.

There is no coding for that. You just have to live with the flicker unless you put resistors.

You must disable the bulb check for the rear turn signals, as the sides are connected to them.

I know that it doesn't sound logical, but it's the way BMW has done it
I have done it on my car, so I know that it works.

You're right, I just coded the function values for the real turn signals and sure enough, the flickering in the fender LED bulbs is gone! Thanks

Now time to buy some LEDs for the rear turn signals

For those that don't know, the rear turn signals are called out by BLK_H as Grant mentioned. Similar to the front turn signals, you would have to code the following to disable the bulb error checks for the rear and fender turn signals.

(Set all to nicht_aktiv)
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_L
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_R
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_L
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_R
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_BLK_H_L
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_BLK_H_R

Glad I could help
It was a long shot when I first tried this, but as the light was flickering (indicating a bulb check), there had to be a setting to disable it
