Pre-lci e92 Magneti Marelli AHL Headlights direct swap?

Wassup,

I'm interested in purchasing a set of AHL headlights for my e92 since my current ones have lots of pitting. If i were to purchase a brand new set of Magneti Marelli OE lights (they own Automotive Lighting). and swapped my hardware from my current lights, ballast, AHL module, bulbs etc. Will everything work fine? Will i get any error codes, and possibly require coding?

I read somewhere that as long as i swap out my original hardware to new headlight assemblies, it should work fine. Searched for these headlights on forums but nada.

Has anyone done this and worked for them? Magneti Marelli headlights are a lot cheaper than OEM lights, and its made by the same manufacturer, just doesnt have the BMW logo on it.

Dunno who you spoke with at ECS but i just gave'em a call and they're asking $900+ for the entire headlight each.
