question about spacers for my xi with 19"
hey whats up guys? im new to this and its my first post, i have a 2006 bmw 330xi with 19" CSL wheels, im running 235/40/19 in the front and 265/35/19 n the back, also im planing to drop it this weekend on eibach prokit springs, i have a small gap in the front and back so i want to drop it and also put wheel spacers, what do u guys recommend? thanks for your help!

Nice looking ride. The only way to really find out what spacer will fit is to get your car lowered first. Then wait a couple weeks for everything to settle into place and measure the gap. From browsing the forum, it's going to be different for each car, even with the same suspension components. Also, it will depend on what type of tires you have mounted, some are more square in profile than others.
Also, when you get your springs installed are you going to replace the stock struts? Either way, I've heard there is a 1/4" upper strut reinforcement plate that can be removed for a bit more drop. Keep us posted on how everything turns out. |
